Due to Lake Shamineau's emergency high water flooding situation, the Lake Shamineau Lake Improvement District (LID) has developed an approved plan for a High Water Outlet Project. Bonding bills have been introduced in the State legislature and the LID is also seeking support for the DNR bonding bill to assist with the costs of the High Water Outlet Project.
